Revelation 22:20

He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

It seems that the world is filled with doomsdayers from both the right side and the left side of extremism. We hear, this calendar is running out and this financial system is going to collapse, this political party has gone crazy and my religious views are the highest so you better get ready. Well of course we should exercise due diligence to make provision for the future as much as is in our power to do so. It is no wonder however that so many are lacking motivation and any desire at all to improve their lives or the world we live in. I can certainly understand today’s generation and their overwhelming feelings of hopelessness when all they hear is everything is all wrong and the sky is falling. The truth is that Jesus Christ is still on the throne and His plan is unfolding exactly as it should be.

The writer of the book of Revelation said, “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” What if instead of using that from a negative point of view we applied it in a positive way to each circumstance in our life? While it is certain that the Lord will return for us, He will also come in each situation and circumstance of life that I walk through.

When we find ourselves in trying and overwhelming places in life let us begin to pray and speak these words to the Lord, “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” You will find that the negativity and hate of this world begins to move back as the presence of the Lord fills your life circumstance by circumstance and day by day.

Revelation 22:21, “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”
